Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2X+12=X/2 CROSS MULTIPLY
2(2X+12)=X
4X+24=X
4X-X=-24
3X=-24
X=-24/3
X=-8 ANS.
PROOF:
2*-8+12=-8/2
-16+12=-4
-4=-4
