The total value or the $5 bills and $10 bills in a cash box is $410. There are eight more $10 bills than $5 bills. How many of each are there?

Equations:
Value Equation: 5f + 10t = 410 dollars
Quantity Equation: t = f + 8
-----------------------------------
Substitute for "t" in the Value Equation to solve for "f":
5f + 10(f+8) = 410
15f + 80 = 410
15f = 330
f = 22 (# of five dollar bills)

Since t = f+8,
t = 22+8 = 30 (# of ten dollar bills)
