4h + 2m = 1000
h + 2m = 460

Subtract 2nd from 1st to solve for "h":
3h = 540
h = 180 cents (cost of a hamburger)

Substitute into h + 2m = 460 to solve for "m":
180 + 2m = 460
2m = 280
m = 140 cents (cost of a carton of mild)
