This problem is one of classic entertainment problem,  and it is classic problem to acquaint beginning students
with systems of equations.

Unfortunately,  in your post the problem is posed  INCORRECTLY,
showing absolute absence of knowledge on the subject.

As it is worded in the post,  many different answers are possible,
which makes the educational value of the posed problem equal to zero,  if not negative.

The correct formulation of the problems should bring, in addition, info about the total number of insects in the box.

Also,  the words  " . . . a box which consists of  270  legs . . . "  sound  BAD  in  English:  they make inappropriate combination.

Much better is to say  "there are  270  legs in the box, in all".
