let your age be and uncle's age
if uncle is triple your age at present, we have
.......eq.1
in years from now, he will only be double your age,and we have
.......eq.2...substitute from eq.1
....solve for

-> your age now
->uncle's age

so, in years you will be and your uncle will be , means double your age
