Quantity:: n = d + 15

Modify::
n + 2d = 150
n - d = 15

Subtract and solve for "d"::
3d = 165

0.05n+0.10d = 7.50 from the first statement.
==> 5n + 10d = 750 ==> n + 2d = 150 <---Equation A
n = d+15
n - d = 15 <---Equation B
from the second statement.
Subtract Equation B from Equation A (corresponding sides):
3d = 135 ==> d = 45, the number of dimes.
==> n = 45 + 15 = 60, the number of nickels.
