hi dear,
let the numers be x and y.
from your question,
x+y=-10--(1)
xy=-600--(2)
from 1
x=-10-y--(3)
put 3 in 2
(-10-y)y=-600
-10y-y²=-600
y²+10y-600=0
factorize the quadratic equation above
(y-20)(y+30)=0
y-20=0 or y+30=0
y=20 or y=-30
the numbers are 20 and -30 or -20 and 30.
