H=number of $100 bills=(3/4)F+7=0.75F+7
$50F+$100H=$4700 Substitute for H.
$50F+$100(0.75F+7)=$4700
$50F+$75F+$700=$4700 Subtract $700 from each side.
$125F=$4000 Divide each side by $125.
F=32 There were 32 $50 bills.
H=0.75F+7=0.75(32)+7=24+7=31 There were 31 $100 bills.
