Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=quarters
x-4 =dimes
.25x+.10(x-4)=2.05
.25x + .10x-.40=2.05
.35x = 2.45
divide by 0.35, both sides
x=7
x-4=3
7 quarters ($1.75)
3 dimes ($0.30
Total=$2.05
