If all 29 were quarters, the total would be 29 * .25 = $7.25
The actual total is $5.00
$7.25 - $5.00 = $2.25
The difference between a quarter and a dime is .15
$2.25 / .15 = 15
There are (15) dimes = $1.50
If there are 29 coins and 15 are dimes, there are 14 quarters.
14 quarters = $3.50
$3.50 + $1.50 = $5.00
