Question 878179: how can you change a two dollar bill into the same amount of nickels, quaters and dimes?
Answer by sofiyac(983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
same amount, lets call it x so we add up each coin multiplied by x and total should be 2 dollars
0.05x+0.25x+0.10x=2 solve for x
0.4x=2
x=2/0.4=5
so you'd need five of each coin
