Answer by ben720(159)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Let Larry = x
Larry + Curly + Moe = $2500

Add 300 to both sides:

Combine like terms:

Divide both sides by 7/3:

Larry gets $x, Curly gets $(x/3), and Moe gets $(x-300)
Larry gets $1200, Curly gets $400, and Moe gets $900.
To check, add them all together to see if you get 2500, which you do.
