Question 827414: So the actual question is
"A collection of quarters and nickels is worth $1.25. There are 13 coins in all. How many of each are there?"

I know you set it up like so
.25Q+.05N=13
And then you multiply by 100.
25Q+5N=125
I don't know how to go about solving it and would appreciate some help.
Thank You.

"A collection of quarters and nickels is worth $1.25. There are 13 coins in all. How many of each are there?"

I know you set it up like so
.25Q+.05N=13
And then you multiply by 100.
25Q+5N=125
---------------------
13 coins --> q + n = 13
$1.25 --> 25q + 5n = 125
