Question 722917: Rona has 6 coins. Half of her coins are quarters, and 1/3 of her coins are nickels. How many of her coins are nickels?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/2 of 6 = (1/2)*6 = 6/2 = 3, so she she has 3 quarters
1/3 of 6 = (1/3)*6 = 6/3 = 2, so she has 2 nickels
Side Note: she has 6 - (3+2) = 1 other coin (that's not a quarter and it's not a nickel)
