Question 657523: HOW CAN YOU HAVE 50 COINS TOTALING $5 USING NO DIMES?

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20081)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There's only one way using no dimes and no pennies.

2 half dollars, 8 quarters, and 40 nickels.

But if you allow pennies, there are lots more ways.
Here are some:

6 half dollars, 39 nickels, and 5 pennies,

2 half dollars, 10 quarters, 28 nickels and 10 pennies.

6 half dollars, 6 quarters, 3 nickels and 35 pennies.
