Answer by MathDazed(34)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 and 1/4 can be written as 5/4....the demoninator times the whole number plus the numerator...then you put your answer over the demoninator
4*1 + 1 = 5 over 4
Hence you divide 20 by 5/4. When you divide any fraction, you flip it then multiply
20 * 4/5
16.....So you have 16
