What is the least number of coins they can all have if the sum of their money is $4.87
:
p = n
d = q
:
.01p + .05n + .10d + .25q = 4.87
replace p with n
replace d with q
.01n + .05n + .10q + .25q = 4.87
.06n + .35q = 4.87
Multiply by 100 to get rid of the decimals
6n + 35q = 487
6n = -35q + 487
n = q +
