Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
26*0.05 + 0.10x = 1.65

1.30 + 0.10x = 1.65

0.10x = 1.65 - 1.30

0.10x = 0.35

x = 0.35/(0.10)

x = 3.5

Since we got a non-integer value, this means that we cannot get $1.65 in the bank. So there must be a typo.
