Let x=number of pennies
2x=number of dimes
3x=number of nickels
Lets deal in pennies
x+10(2x)+5(3x)=180
x+20x+15x=180
36x=180
x=5------------------------number of pennies
2*5=10------------------------number of dimes
3*5=15-----------------------number of nickels

5+10*10+5*15=180
5+100+75=`180
180=180
