Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
nickels = n
dimes = 3n
quarters = 3n+10

$11.30 = 1130 cents
5n+10*3n+25(3n+10)=1130
5n+30n+75n+250=1130
110n=1130-250
110n=880
/110
n=8 nickels
dimes = 3n = 24 dimes
quarters = 3n+10= 34
Check
34*25 + 24*10+8*5 = 1130
