Aravin will have twice as much money as Ben

Chandran will have 1/4 of what Aravin and Ben have altogether

Let x,2x,(1/4)3x represent money Ben, Aravin and Chandran will have

 x+ 2x + .25*3x = $240

     3.75x = $240

         x = $240/3.75

         x = $64, Ben's amount. Aravin with $128 and Chanran with $48
