5x+4y=9.5 .............1
4x+5y=10.3 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by -5
Multiply (2) by 4
-25x-20 y=-47.5
16x+20y =41.2
Add the two equations
-9x=-6.3
/-9
x=0.70
plug value of x in (1)
5x+4y=9.5
3.5+4y=9.5
4y=9.5-3.5
4y=6
y=1.50
