You can put this solution on YOUR website! There are 5 cents in a nickel, and 100 cents in a dollar. So what we would do is make a problem like so:
26*5=X
130=X
26 nickels make 130 cents. So if there are 100 cents in a dollar, then you would divide 130 by 100, like so:
130/100= 1.30
So, there are $1.30 in a nickel, or 1 and 3/10 of a dollar.
