Hi,

Let x be the number of dimes. then # of quarters would be 2x and 

# of nickels would be (x+10)



5(x+10) + 10x + 25*2x = 2000cents

Simplify and Solve

5x + 50 + 10x + 50x = 2000 cents

65x = 1950

x = 1950/65

x = 30

Corey has 30 dimes, 60 quarters and 40 nickels

checking the nswer

5*40 + 10*30 + 25*60 = 200 + 300+ 1500 = 2000cents
