Isabelle has in her hand some pennies, nickels and dimes totaling 80 cents. If she has 15 coins and as many pennies as nickels, how many dimes does she have?

let her have x pennies.
nickels = x
dimes will be the balance = 15-2x
x+5X+10(15-2X)= 80
6X+150-20X =80
-14X =-150+80
-14X=-70
X=5 NICKELS AND PENNIES
15-10=5 DIMES
