Let = number of dimes he has
Let = number of nickels he has
given:





He has 5 dimes and 10 nickels
= total

He has 100 cents, or $1

1/3(15)=dimes
There are 5 dimes.
15-5=10
10 nickels
5n+10d
(5*10)+(10*5)=total
50+50=100 cents=$1.00
