Answer by Paul(988) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Quarters = x
Nickels = 7+x
Nickel value = 5
Quarter value = 25
total value = 305
5(x+7)+25x=305
5x+35+25x=305
30x=270
x=9
9+7=16
Hence there are 9 quarters are 16 nickels.
