:
n+d=20...........eq 1
.05n+.1d=1.35....eq 2
:
lets rewrite eq 1 to n=20-d and plug this value into eq 2
:
.05(20-d)+.1d=1.35

1-.05d+.1d=1.35

.05d=.35
