Number of 25 centavo coins be x
and P1 coins be y
COIN numbers equation
x+y=48
Condition
y=3x+4
y-3x=4
Multiply by -1
-y+3x= -4

x+y=48
-y+3x= -4
add the equations
4x=44
x=11 Number of 25 centavo coins
Balance = 37 P1 coins
you find the value
