Answer by ikleyn(52824)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Your equation is

5N + 25*(22-N) = 410   cents.

5N + 550 - 25N = 410,

-20N = 410 - 550,

-20N = -140,

N =  = 7.

Answer.  7 nickels and 22-7 = 15 quarters.
