y=dimes
and quarters=z
y=x+z-3;x-y+z=3
x+y+z=19
x-y+z=3
2x+2z=22
x+z=11
There are 8 dimes so $1.55 is not accounted for.
.05x+.25z=1.55
x+z=11
x=11-z
.05(11-z)+.25z=1.55
.55-.05z+.25z=1.55
.20z=1
z=5 quarters ($1.25)
y=8 dimes ($0.80)
x=6 nickels (0.30)
