Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
p = number of pennies
n = number of nickels

p = 2n
p + 5n = 28 * 25 = 700

Use substitution.

p + 5n = 700
7n = 700
n = 100

You have 100 nickels and 200 pennies.
