p + 5n + 10d = 64 cents
n = d + 2
p = 3d

Substitute for "n" and for "p" and solve for "d"::
3d + 5(d+2) + 10d = 64
-----------
18d + 10 = 64
18d = 54
d = 3 (# of dimes)
n = d+2 = 5 (# of nickel)
p = 3d = 9 (# of pennies)
