Question 1018239: I have 19 quarters and 18 pennies and 10 nickels and 18 dimes. What is the total?
Answer by Screamgirl(4) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 quarter= $0.25 and 4 quarters=$1.00] $0.25x19=$4.75 so 19 quarters= $4.75
1 pennie= $0.01x18=$0.18 so 18 pennies= $0.18
1 nickel= $0.05x10=$0.50 so 10 nickels= $0.50
1 dime= $0.10 and 10 dimes= $1.00] $0.10x18=$1.80 so 18 dimes= $1.80
$4.75+$.018=$4.93+$0.50=$5.43+$1.80=$7.23
The Answer is you have $7.23
