Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=numerator
20-x=denominator
(x+3)/(20-x-2)=3/4
cross multiply
4(x+3)=3(18-x)
distribute
4x+12=54-3x
7x=42
x=6
The fraction is 6/14
9/12=3/4
