Let x = number of dimes.

Then the number of quarters is 2x.

The balance equation is

2x*25 + 10x = 1920.

Simplify and solve it:

50x + 10x = 1920,

60x = 1920,

x =  = 32.

Answer. Number of dimes is 32.
