First thing is to define everyone's age in terms of x
So lets do that
We will call Bella's age x so
Bella's age = x
Ella is twice Bella's age so
Ella's age = 2x
Stella is three times bella's age so
Stella's age = 3x
Last we are told that the difference between Stella's and Bella's age is 8 so

now just solve for x

combine like terms
divide both sides by 2

Now that we have found Bella's age (x) we can use that to find the other girls ages.
