Say the oldest brother is 10 years old.
The youngest is three times as young
(3 x 10yrs=30 yrs) so the youngest brother
is 30 years younger than the ten year old,
or negative 20 years old, which is not possible.
The youngest brother could be 1/3 as old,
but that is not what the given problem states.
Three times as young would not work with the
two year differential either.
