Hi dear,
let Patrick's age be x
Pat age =x+23.
In 10yrs time,Patrick's age=x+10
Pat's age=x+33
But x+33=2(x+23)
Then,
x+33=2x+46
x-2x=46-33
-x=13
x=-13
Ingnore the nagative sign since age cannot be nagative.
Therefore,
Patrick's age =13yrs
Pat's age=13+23
=46yrs
