Josey's birthday is December 31.

She was still 7 on December 30, 2014
She turned 8 on December 31, 2014
She will turn 9 on December 31, 2015
She will turn 10 on December 31, 2016

This was spoken on January 1, 2015.
On that day, day before yesterday, Dec. 30, 2014 Josey was only 7.
Next year will be 2016, and on the last day of 2016, 
she will turn 10.

Lets analyse your question!
lets say that,day before yesterday is 12th August 2015.
If Jesey was 7yrs on 12th August 2015,Then,On 12th August 2016,he shall be 8yrs old.
From my analysis,it is not possible for Jessey to be 10yrs next year.
IS THIS OK?
