How old is she now?

let a = her age now
a + 5 = 3(a-9)
a + 5 = 3a - 27
5 + 27 = 3a - a
32 = 2a
a = 32/2
a = 16 yrs now

9 years ago Reshma age was (x-9).
After 5 years Reshma's age will be (x+5).
