Sarah is younger than Steve by 4 yrs if their ages are in the respect ratio of 7:9 how old is Sarah?
Answer by Murthy(22) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x be the age of Steve in years
then Sara will be (x-4) yrs old
Given,
(x-4)/x=7/9
therefore,
9x-36=7x
x=18 years
Steve is 18 years and Sara is 14 years old
