S=1.25(S-6yrs)
S=1.25S-7.5yrs Subtract S from each side.
0=0.25S-7.5yrs Add 7.5yrs to each side.
7.5yrs=0.25S Multiply each side by 4.
30yrs=S Salma's current age is 30.
Son's age=1/10 Salma's age=(0.1)(30yrs)=3yrs
ANSWER: The son is 3 years old.
