Let Luke's current age, be L

Then Jim's is: L - 2

Also, Pete's is: L - 2 - 3, or L - 5

We then get: L + L - 2 + L - 5 = 62

3L = 62 + 7

3L = 69

L, or Luke's current age = , or 

Although not asked, Jim is: 21, and Pete is 18.
