x=current age of woman
40-x=current age of daughter
(x+4)/(44-x)=(7/2)
2(x+4)=7(44-x)
2x+8=308-7x
9x=300
x=33 1/3 years old-----woman's age
40-x=6 2/3 years old------daughter's age
CK
(37 1/3)/(10 2/3)=112/32=7/2
