letx=ram age
y=daughter's age
x=7y
after 5 years
x+5=5(y+5)
x+5=5y+25
7y+5=5y+25
7y-5y=25-5
2y=20
y=10
x=7y
x=7(10)=70
therefore present age is ram=70 and daughter=10
check afetr 5 years ram is 75 and daughter is 15
15x5=75
