Let Harry's present age be = x
Then Dick's present age be = 7x
After 6 years Harry's age will be = x+6
and Dick's age will be = 7x+6
but given dick's age = 5(Harry's age)
Therefore 7x+6 = 5(x+6)
7x+6 = 5x+30
7x-5x = 30-6
2x = 24
x = 24/2 = 12
Present age of Harry is = 12

After 5 years Harry will be 17 years
