The problem statment gives the equality
(1) x + 3 = 3*(x - 3) or
(2) x + 3 = 3x - 9 or
(3) 9 + 3 = 3x - x or
(4) 2x = 12 or
(5) x = 6
Is (6+3=3*(6-3))?
Is (9 = 3*3)?
Is (9 = 9)? Yes
