Question 828244: A is 6 years older than B,who is 4 times as old as C. If the sum of their ages is 33, what is A's age?
Answer by Seutip(231) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
6+4x - be the age of A
4x - be the age of B
x - be the age of C
6+4x+4x+x = 33
9x=27
x=3
Therefore,
A = 18 y.o.
B = 12 y.o.
C = 3 y.o.
Hope that helps, :)
