My goodness, you people must have been around for a very long time! ;)
If your father's age is three times your mother's age, then divide 1236 by 3 to get your mother's age.
If your age is twice your mother's age (meaning either she's actually your stepmother or you're a time traveler, haha), multiply her age by 2 to get your age.
